Liposomal encapsulation, micronization and pH modulation raise the uptake of actives that would otherwise pass through unabsorbed. The delivery system is chosen for the active, not the other way round.

Sizes 1 to 000 hold about 250 mg to 1,200 mg of powder, so a 1,000 mg serving fits one size 000 capsule instead of four small ones. Fill weight depends on the density of the blend.

From brief to finished product in six steps.
Custom formulation takes 8 to 12 weeks from brief to finished product. Gummies and softgels run longer: plan on about 18 to 20 weeks from quote to a finished first order, depending on the formulation. This is what happens in that time.

Tell us the format, the actives or the outcome you want, your target dose and your target price. A mutual NDA is signed before you share anything proprietary.
Formulation
Our formulators build the formula from the 10,000+ actives held on campus, dosed to the intake levels in the published research, in the delivery form that suits them.
Samples
You get production-scale samples to taste and test: 3 to 6 weeks in any format. Test one version with up to three rounds of changes, or three versions side by side with one round of changes.
Quote and contract
Your sign-off becomes a master manufacturing record and a firm quote. Lead time starts when the 50% deposit is paid.
Production and packaging
Your run is made under cGMP, then filled, labelled and kitted on the same campus. Labels get a compliance review before the first run.
Testing and release
Every batch gets identity and microbial testing in-house and ships with our certificate of analysis. Potency, heavy-metal and stability panels are added to match your label claims. curí, the third-party ISO 17025 accredited lab on campus, can issue an accredited COA on request, at an additional fee.

What is the minimum order for a custom formula?
2,500 units, or 5,000 units for gummies and softgels. If you need fewer, the 400+ stock formulas run from 500 units, and a formula you already own can be bottled from 1,000 units.
How long does custom formulation take?
8 to 12 weeks from brief to finished product for capsules, tablets, powders and liquids. Gummies and softgels run longer: plan on about 18 to 20 weeks from quote to a finished first order, depending on the formulation. Samples take 3 to 6 weeks in any format, with up to three rounds of changes on one version, or three versions side by side with one round of changes. Repeat runs of 30,000 units or more of capsules, tablets, powders and liquids ship in four weeks.
Can I bring my own formula?
Yes. If your formula is ready we make it to your specification, from 1,000 units for bottling only. Most ingredients are already on campus through F.A.M.E. Ingredients; anything else we source for you.
Do I own my custom formula?
Yes. A formula we develop for you is yours. Work starts under a mutual NDA, and your formulation, branding and specifications stay your property.
Do you help with dosage and ingredient selection?
Yes. Our formulators dose actives to the intake levels used in the published research, advise on ingredient forms such as magnesium glycinate versus oxide, and choose the delivery system that suits the active: standard, liposomal, enteric-coated or sustained release. Dosing to a researched level is a formulation decision, not a claim about results.
Is testing included?
Identity and microbial testing are done in-house on every run, and every batch ships with our certificate of analysis. Potency, heavy-metal, pesticide and stability panels are quoted separately to match your label claims. An accredited COA from curí, the third-party ISO 17025 lab on campus, is available on request, at an additional fee.
Can you develop a flavor for my product?
Yes. The flavor lab on campus holds 67 stock flavors across nine families and more than 1,000 in rotation, with certified organic, natural and natural-and-artificial options, and develops new flavors for your brief. Powders, gummies, liquids and chewable tablets take flavor; capsules are usually unflavored.
Which certifications can my product carry?
The facility is FDA-registered and cGMP, SQF and NSF GMP certified, with MOSA Certified Organic, Halal and Kosher options, Health Canada credentials and NSF GMP for Sport registration for brands pursuing NSF Certified for Sport.
Can I start from a stock formula and change it?
Yes. Stock+ starts from one of the 400+ ready-developed stock formulas and changes the flavor, the actives or the dose, with a lower minimum and a shorter clock than full custom. A change too large to run as Stock+ becomes a custom formula from 2,500 units.
Which delivery systems can you formulate?
Standard, liposomal, enteric-coated and sustained-release forms, plus emulsions for liquids and bioavailability work such as micronization and pH modulation. The formulator picks the system that suits the active and the format.
